Stripe (Payments):

• Purpose: Payment processing and fraud detection
• Cookies: _stripe_mid, _stripe_sid, and others

Supabase (Database):

• Purpose: Authentication and session management
• Cookies: sb-auth-token, sb-refresh-token

Google Analytics:

• Purpose: Anonymous site usage analysis

• Opt-out: Google Analytics Opt-out

5. How to Manage/Disable Cookies

You can manage cookies through your browser settings:

Google Chrome:

1. Click the gear icon (⚙️) → Settings
2. Go to Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
3. Choose: Block third-party cookies (recommended) or Block all

Mozilla Firefox:

1. Click the menu (≡) → Preferences
2. Go to Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
3. Select: Block cookie trackers (enhanced protection mode)

Safari (macOS/iOS):

1. Safari → Preferences → Privacy
2. Uncheck: Allow cross-site tracking

Microsoft Edge:

1. Click (⋯) → Settings
2. Privacy, search, and services → Cookies and permissions
3. Choose: Block third-party cookies

Impact of Disabling Essential Cookies:

• You will not be able to log in (sessionStorage will be blocked)
• Preference history will be lost
• Some Ascent features will not work

Recommendation: Keep essential cookies enabled and only block third-party cookies.

6. Changes to This Policy

This Cookies Policy may be updated to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements.

When We Update:

• Addition of new essential cookies → Email notification
• Third-party changes (Stripe, Google) → Automatic update
• Technical improvements → Published without prior notice
